Feature: Role-based Security

ProjectPipe provides Role-based Security for all project data. ProjectPipe ships with a number of real-life roles, with each role's permissions based upon typical project responsibilities. The roles and permissions are all configurable.

ProjectPipe's security model is not limited to the ProjectPipe.com web application. Rather, the security model also enforces privileges when users access ProjectPipe data via RSS feeds, as all ProjectPipe RSS feeds require a valid userid and password.

Security At-A-Glance

ProjectPipe's Team page shows a roster of all team members and their role. It also shows a matrix of roles and Data Entity-level permisssions. Within this matrix, you can also see the users associated with each role.
