ProjectPipe Help
Return to Main MenuWhat data can I manage in ProjectPipe?
All of the data types that you can manage in ProjectPipe are present in the Data section of the left navbar.
The following data types are provided in a standard configuration of ProjectPipe:
- Use Case: These are useful to describe how users will interact with a system.
- Requirement: The formal specification that determines the characteristics of your project deliverables
- Task: The activities and milestones that appear in project plans
- Risk: Conditions, significant issues, or events that jeopardize the success of your project
- Issue: To-do items, bug fixes, or other items that need attention and resolution by your team
- Test Case:Manual or software-based scenarios that can be used to validate the expected behavior of a system
- Release: For software projects, a named version of the software to be deployed
- Document: Either an uploaded document or an HTML document created using ProjectPipe's integrated WYSIWYG editor.
- Template: Much of ProjectPipe's default content is configurable. The Template data is where this content is housed.
- Architecture: A place for outlining the key moving parts of your solution. Very useful for building dependency diagrams and associating features with scheduled Releases.
- Note: Any item in ProjectPipe can have Notes added to them. The "Note" link in the left navbar provides a view across all of the notes that can be added to individual items. They are also grouped according to the items that they relate to.
- Tag: A list of the Tags created for this project. See the Tagging section in the documentation for additional information on Tagging.
- Resource: All people in the project. These include both team members who can login as well as those who cannot -- only resources with a userid (i.e., an email address) can login.
