What is Dependency Management?

Dependency Management is the process of establishing linkages among related data in your project. For example, an issue may be related to a requirement that is explicitly mentioned in the scope statement document. ProjectPipe makes it easy for you to establish and traverse these links in three useful ways:

• First, both inbound and outbound links are shown when you are viewing the details of an item.
• Second, interactive link diagrams that graphically depict the relationships among data items can be viewed and navigated. Clicking on a node brings up the item detail screen for that item.
• Third, both inbound and outbound links can be selected as columns for display in a table, outline, or custom query.
