ProjectPipe Privacy Policy

Botonomy respects your privacy. This document describes what data we have and how we keep it private.

Information Gathering and Usage

Botonomy gathers the following types of information from customers and potential customers:

  1. Billing Information -- This includes information such as your email address, name and billing address. This information is shared between you and Botonomy. Botonomy keeps this information solely for the purpose of tracking payments, and it is your responsibility to keep it up to date. When Botonomy bills you, we transmit this billing information to our third party credit card processing company.
  2. Project-specific Information -- This is all the Content in every project you run on ProjectPipe. This information is completely yours and is never read by anyone except your project members. You control who accesses your project-specific information by adding and removing members of your team. Botonomy or its designee will only view or access your Content under a few rare conditions: (i) at your request (e.g., for tech support), (ii) to maintain the safety and functioning of the ProjectPipe service, (iii) ordered by a court of law.

In addition to the information above, Botonomy gathers the following less intrusive information:

  1. Log Information -- Whenever you visit our website, Botonomy records the information that your browser sends. These include your web request, IP address, browser type, the date and time. Botonomy uses this information to track aggregate usage of our server and does not use this information to track the behavior of individual customers.
  2. Cookies -- Botonomy only uses temporary cookies (a small string of characters) to uniquely identify each session with a customer. While cookies are required to use ProjectPipe, they are disposed of immediately when you log out.
  3. User Communications -- When you send email or other communication to Botonomy, we may retain these communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
